I don’t know about you, but the Assault Rifle is a staple in my Call of Duty: Warzone diet. 

Great range, great damage and a balance of accuracy and magazine size. Their popularity is only outweighed by their versatility, and using the Gunsmith customization system, you can really style them to your needs.

But the question remains; what is the Season 6 meta looking like for AR’s?

Best AR Loadout for Warzone

5. Grau 5.56

Fan favorite, and past season nerfs have brought this monsterishly accurate back to the top 5 of best AR’s. Easy to use, and ready to be fitted with the “Fully Loaded” Perk, it’ll get you out of some tight spots.

4. QBZ-83

After past season buffs, this once “piece of crap”, is not the popular kid on the playground. Changes from Season 4, increased it’s damage output, and the torso damage multiplier is a beast.

Use these attachments for easier control and competitive TTK.

• Barrel: 15.5″ Task Force
• Optic: Axial Arms 3x
• Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip

3. FARA 83

What a history the FARA 83 has had… It dominated up till Season 4’s Reloaded update. Its recoil control was nerfed and it was dethroned from being a #1 contender. Season 6’s updates have made the FARA 83 a champ in the Warzone once again.

The FARA 83 sports almost no recoil. With solid damage output and great range, you can use this build to take out enemies at distance or in a pinched environment.

2. XM4

The XM4 is a balanced, long-range, medium-range, sniping-capable beauty of an assault rifle. The vertical recoil makes it easy to keep under control, and it has one of the fastest TTK in the game!

Season 6 updates did the XM4 justice and we know you will “have great success” (Borat voice) with this little devil of a build.

1. Cold War AK-47

The number one AR in Season 6 Call of Duty: Warzone is….. The Cold War AK-47!

The AK-47 has a gorgeous TTK, the recoil pattern is tolerable for most players, and after updates during Season 4 and 5, the Cold War Classic has been brought back up to #1.

The AK-47 is easily one of the most versatile and customizable AR’s in the game. Build it for close range to bring on those killer dates with your Sniper, and you have yourself a recipe for love.

Remember, we cannot guarantee your success in Warzone, but we can recommend that you use these Assault Rifle builds and you will see a difference in your game.
