Welcome to the Pacific! Caldera is nearly here, depending on your region, and almost ready to play, so the real question is what comes with the major update and theater change? Let’s take a look.

Originally slated to drop December 2nd, but it was hit with some delays and now it is finally here!

New modes:

Caldera Battle Royale - Warzone’s Standard Mode. Over 150 Weapons, familiar vehicles and access to skins from across all three games.

  • Caldera Plunder - Fan favorite for leveling weapons and warming up for BR.
  • Vanguard Royale - Warzone WW2 style with Vanguard weapons and vehicles. Also includes aerial dogfighting.
  • Vanguard Plunder - Again, fan favorite mode to level up weapons but WW2 style. All the Vanguard feels with the benefit of the comfortable mode. Arrives later in Season 1.
  • Vanguard Resurgence - Available in about a week, this mode requires at least one player per squad to be alive in order to respawn. Current map is unsure, but chaos is definitely on the menu.
  • Rebirth Island - Rebirth will be back at some point in the season.

What else:

Vanguard’s update and integration add Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons, and their vehicles to the pacific, and they will all be accessible through the Caldera Royale Playlist.

The new kernel-based anti-cheat system, RICOCHET, is expected to drop soon!

UAV Spam will be tougher with this streak being nerfed. The cost has been bumped from $4K to $6K.

Melee damage is to be updated in the December 9th update. All melee weapons will require three hits to reach maximum damage.

Update size by platform:

  • PlayStation — 44.7 GB
  • Xbox — 41.2 GB
  • PC (Warzone and Modern Warfare) — 69.1 GB
  • PC (Warzone Only) — 37.8 GB
